Programmatic Assessment
An assessment that is focused on learning outcomes which are identified for an entire program, NOT merely a course or unit.
- Assessment FOR learning, not OF learning
- Emphasis on formative assessment, feedback, and coaching
- Then, and only then, with the accumulation of multiple data points, is a summative (up/down) decision made at the end of the year.
